Columbus Day Sales

I have been MIA...sorry, my readers. My Insta game is still on point, but it's been difficult to blog as of late.

I put myself on a spending freeze until I go to Madrid next month, but could not help picking up one of these bags from Ann Taylor for...drumroll please...$30. I couldn't resist. They are a suede cross body and perfect for any autumn occasion, such as college tailgates, apple picking, or trick or treating.

An Afternoon at Tory

I took a year off Tory Burch...there, I admit it. I wasn't feeling the logo anymore and thought it was too flashy for awhile, but I went into Boston yesterday and stopped by the newly rennovated Copley Place store. I fell in love with Tory all over again.

I tried on one dress (I wanted to try on the Greek mosaic dress as well, but they didn't have my size). My husband was with me and blurted a "woah" when he saw me in the Piqué Square-neck dress. Ladies, run and go buy this one. It's definitely a showstopper.

Here are my picks from Tory Burch:

Ballet Flats & the Tall Girl: A Love Affair

Oh, the woes of a tall girl. I personally hate wearing heels over three inches high, so my collection of ballet flats is rather extensive. My favorite brand is Porselli, but I am loving the two-tone French Sole. I cannot wait to go to Spain in the fall...I'm hoping to bring home a few pairs of famous handmade Spain flats.

Stubbs and Wootton

I love a great pair of luxurious shoes and I've had been wanting a pair of Stubbs for long time before I bought the Red Crusade pair for myself for Christmas. They are very comfortable for this tall dame who hates heels with a passion. I was surprised on Christmas morning with the Nantucket Beacon pair from my in-laws, but I couldn't just stop at two pairs, so I picked up the College Gray loafers for those days when I just "can't" with people.

Healthy Skin Tips

A few years ago, I went to the dermatologist for the first time because I wanted to get my skin checked out as I work in the sun. My mother has a skin disease where she must wear sunscreen everyday, so since I was a teenager, she harped on my sister and I to start taking care of our skin through the daily use of sunscreen.

Needless to say, my dermatologist found nothing and complimented my skin. My favorite sunscreens are by Shiseido. I have found nothing that compares to it. I recently started using a hand cream with SPF because I didn't my hard work taking care of my face to reflect poorly if my hands didn't match.
