I am currently reading Away Off Shore: Nantucket Island and Its People, 1602-1890 by Nathaniel Philbrick. I recently took a trip to Nantucket and became enamored by it. As I studied early American constitutionalism, I am fascinated with learning how certain shaped the environment, colonized, and created local governing bodies. It has been an interesting read so far and recommend it to anyone who wants to visit the island as it will explain its terrain and local history.
